We began meeting in November 2024 after two of us put a few notices around the local area. We didn’t expect anyone to turn up at our local library for the first meeting. However, we had eight people very quickly. We meet monthly in different houses and we write around 500 words each month on different themes. We are all gaining confidence in providing constructive feedback.
Rosemary Noble, who leads the group, has been impressed with the quality of writing and aims to encourage publication. This led to the idea of a book to support a local charity. Rosemary has had experience in producing such books in West Sussex. For example, A Feast of Christmas Stories. Rosemary has also published several books of her own, mainly historical novels.
